Transformation Missions
Vision
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed...
Rom 12:2
What would you call it if a city became so impacted by the Gospel of Jesus that jails were closed, poverty was all but eliminated, the abuse and neglect of woman and children ended and family relationships restored?  Would you call it impossible?  We would call it TRANSFORMATION!

The vision of “Transformation Missions” is to see a city and then a nation transformed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus and to see justice and righteousness become the standard of that nation.
The Gospel of Jesus not only gives the hope of eternal life, but also the promise of “life more abundant.”  Abundant life is the result of the transformation of the way we think, behave and relate.  Jesus transforms our identity, our thinking, our desires and our relationships.  It is the power of a changed life that testifies of the great love of Jesus and the hope that is found in Him.

The road to city transformation begins with the pastors of a city (across denominational lines).  When they have experienced transformation in their own lives, they can then disciple their congregations into transformed living and become an influence for justice and righteousness in their city.

The goal of “Transformation Missions” is to unite the pastors of the city in prayer for the transformation of their city; to be a source of encouragement and help to the pastors and their families; and to mobilize the local churches and community leaders to influence their city for Christ.
